2nd semester – collection concepts
The requirement of the subject’s collection concept in the 2nd semester was to create a dress made of wool. The inspiration for this outfit was the split gill, an agaric.
The pattern cut of the top part of the dress is close to the body and made of two different wool fabrics. To connect the centre front with the seam on the shoulder, an additional three-dimensional visor is being held. The skirt is composed of 36 individual lamellae and formative reinforced by a hoop skirt. The centre front of the skirt part is additionally processed with a zipper.
