WORK ETHIC

Florian Schulze is a Berlin fashion and accessory designer for womenswear. His design aesthetic combines highly detailed handwork techniques, elaborated pattern constructions and precise processing with an innovative usage of materials.

3D textile designs became an important part of his collections. The development of new surfaces and structures is as important as the cutting of the silhouette. Self-manufactured embroideries such as goat hair tassels and crocheted structures refine manipulated or self produced fabrics.

“Fabrics sometimes need to be destroyed before they show their real beauty and become a part of their actual usage.“
